I am confused and oblivious

I wonder if I will get where I want to in life

I hear the piercing screams of doubts in my head

I see the person

I want to be

I pretend to know what I am doing

I feel unprepared and rushed

I touch the unknown future with cautious fingers of hope

I worry that I won’t make it

I cry that I will fail

I understand that I am young

I say ill have the time

I dream that I will do well
